Wilhelmina was a homemaker, guardian, and an active member of the Vietnam World War Mother’s Organization. She attended Faith Apostolic Temple in South Bend, Indiana where she was a faithful tither, member of the Mother’s Board, and former choir member. Some of her greatest pleasures in life were sitting on the porch waving at the people in the community, spending time with her great grandchildren, conversing with her best friend “Miss” Jewel White, going to church and purchasing hanging floral baskets. Wilhelmina loved to get her hair done, dress to impress, and share the accomplishments of her family members. She was honored to have college graduates, preachers, entertainers, athletes, entrepreneurs, artists, amateur chefs and “fashion models” in her family and their achievements were often the topic of her conversation.

She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Lavada Dampier, Olive Branch, Mississippi, William (Beverly) Miller, Pacoima, California, Bishop Eddie (Diana) Miller, South Bend, Indiana, Hayward (Betty) Miller, Lakeview Terrace, California, Veronica Wright, Sun Valley, California, Pastors Greg (Sandra) Frazier, South Bend, Indiana and Terry Shanna Cole, Mattawan, Michigan, one sister, Mary Helen Palmer, Buchanan, Michigan, 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, “Buddy” the Frazier canine, Kenny Garrett, and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Brother, Hayward Miller, daughter, Patricia Ann Miller, and grandson, Anthony Anderson.

Grandma Matt will be missed!
