It was another tough weekend for most of the Daily News Football Forecasters.

Only two forecasters were able to correctly pick seven games, while five others were relegated to a record of 6-4.

Daily News Sports Editor Scott Novak was one of the forecasters who went 7-3, which allowed him to stretch his lead to two games over Dowagiac Athletic Director Brent Nate.

Novak is now 58-22 on the season, while Nate is 56-24.

Tied for third place are Sue Drobrich and Tom Atkinson at 54-26.

Paul Hartsig and Allison Hayes are in fifth at 53-27, while Bruce Laing is 52-28 heading into this weekend.
