Pathways.org has awarded Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church a $1,000 grant for the installation of ramps and automatic door openers.

In 2000, the parish community built a new  social hall, kitchen and classroom addition and at that time the addition included accessible wide doorways and accessible restrooms.

Currently, the parish is undergoing a $2.5 million dollar renovation and the recent grant will help make the newly renovated church, sanctuary, parish offices and food pantry more accessible.

Pastor Father Joe McCormick expressed gratitude for being selected by Pathways to help achieve the goal to include worshipers of all ages and abilities.

Our Lady of the Lake is only one out of eight houses of faith across the United States that received the Pathways grant.
