Despite the near constant rainfall seen throughout the rest of the day, the weather broke just long enough Friday afternoon to have a bright October sun greet students and staff participating in this year’s homecoming parade.

Onlookers lined the streets to greet the precession, as participants made their way from Dowagiac Union High School, winding their way through the neighborhood before marching into Chris Taylor-Alumni Field. The theme of this year’s floats was famous American cities, with each class building a float based on their take of places like New York or Hollywood.
