Larry Joseph Raymond Jones, 59, of South Bend, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 26, 2014,

surrounded by his loving family in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Larry was born Feb. 27, 1955, in South Bend Indiana, in the same hospital. He married Emma Lucille Franklin Carter Nov. 13, 2012, in South Bend. She survives.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Valerie Minisee and Carmen Curtis.
Larry will be greatly missed by family and friends. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Emma (Franklin) Jones (formerly Carter) of South Bend, Indiana; one daughter, LaMonica Stewart of Niles, Michigan; one son, Staff Sergeant Jason (Crystal) Puckett of Cassopolis, Michigan; five grandchildren,

Kyra Stewart of Niles, Trevin Mason, Jason Puckett, Emilio Puckett, Isela Puckett; his mother, Elaine (Jones) Pulido of Mesa, Arizona; his father Richard (Delores) Minisee of Cassopolis; one sister, Maelyn (Minisee) Myers of Mesa, Arizona; two brothers, Robin Minisee of Las Vegas, Nevada, Paris Minisee of Mesa, Arizona; Emma’s children, Penney V. (Tony) Palmer of South Bend, Larry L. Owens of South Bend and Kerry M. (Fiance Aimee) Carter of Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jones’ remains will be laid to rest Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at 10 a.m. in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Calvin Township, when he will accorded full Military Honors.
