BATTLE CREEK — The Niles tennis team tied host Battle Creek Harper Creek for the invitational championship on Saturday.

The Vikings and Beavers tied for first place with 27 points. Three Rivers was second with 18 and Battle Creek Central fourth with eight.

Winning flight championship for Niles were Micah Weigel at No. 2 singles, Derek Brown and Matt Lee at No. 1 doubles, Jacob Ganus and Jacob Ruelle at No. 2 doubles as well as Zayne Neumann and Riley Delinski at No. 3 doubles.
