Dowagiac defeated Three Rivers 28-8 Thursday night.

Taylor Dodd and JJ Smith led the Chieftains in scoring with two touchdowns each.

While Dodd scored both his on the ground, Smith did his through the air with over 100 yards receiving from Brendon Dudley, who led the passing attack.

Jamin Hunt and Caleb Murphy both had outstanding games and substantial yardage. “Defensively everyone played well,” Dowagiac coach Chad Perrin said.

Dowagiac will face the Parchment JV squad at Chris Taylor-Alumni Field Thursday.
