Upton, Novak tied for lead

Thanks to the Big Ten Conference it was a tough week for the Daily Star Football Forecasters.

Only two forecasters posted winning records (6-4), while two more were .500 and the remainder of the forecasters were 4-6.

Niles Athletic Director Jeff Upton and Daily Star Sports Editor Scott Novak are tied for first place after two weeks at 15-5.

Tiffanie Gogley, who was 10-0 the first week, is tied with Krush Volleyball Club Directeor Dennis Cooper and Buchanan Athletic Director for second place at 14-6.

The Big Ten was 0-3 in games against Notre Dame, Oregon and Viginia Tech.

Only the Virginia Tech victory can be considered an upset as Notre Dame was playing at home and Oregon was ranked No. 3 in the country.
