Irma J. Zupke, of Kalamazoo

Irma J. Zupke, 92, of Kalamazoo died peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at Central Baptist Village in Norridge, IL. She was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Niles, the daughter of J. Harley and Gertrude A. (Brockway) Weed.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband, Larry in 2009; her brother, Harley Weed; and her sister, Kathryn Turner. She is survived by her sons, Alan of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and James (Kris) of Redford, Michigan; and her grandson Chad (Tracey) of Oak Park, Illinois.

Interment will be held at South Portage Cemetery. Following the burial, food and fellowship will be shared at Irma’s favorite restaurant, LaRue’s, 6375 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo.
