In an effort to foster inspiration, energize and welcome teachers and staff back from summer, Niles Community Schools will host Kinetic Affect — a performance group that combines past experiences and powerful voices from two different walks of life.

The event will take place at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Niles High School, 1441 Eagle St., Niles.

Creating a new spoken word poetry experience, Kinetic Affect will perform as part of professional development workshops for Niles administrators, teachers and staff.
