Edwardsburg teen injured in rollover

A 16-year-old Edwardsburg resident was ejected from his vehicle after rolling over an unknown number of times on North Shore Drive Tuesday afternoon.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called to an unknown injury crash on North Shore Drive near Cardavaant Drive in Jefferson Township at 4:29 p.m.

Joshua House, 16, of Edwardsburg, was travelling north on North Shore Dr. when he lost control of his vehicle, running off the road into the swamp and overturning an unknown number of times. House is not believed to be wearing his seat belt and without the use of this restraint he was ejected during this rollover crash.

His passenger, Broadryck Masten, 16, of Edwardsburg, was also injured in this crash, but is believed to be wearing
his seatbelt.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. This case remains under investigation.
