Seat available on Brandywine board

Brandywine Community Schools Board Member, Mike Shelton, has submitted his resignation from the Brandywine Board of Education.

Shelton served the Brandywine Board for 17 years as a trustee.

Due to the vacancy the Brandywine Board of Education is seeking applicants of those persons who are legally qualified to be on the board and interested in being considered for appointment.

Interested applicants should notify the secretary of the board in writing by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

The letter of application should include the name, address and phone number of the applicant along with the reason why the applicant would like to be a member of the Brandywine Community Schools Board of Education.

Letters should be addressed to: Dennis Hinsey, secretary, Board of Education, Brandywine Community Schools and can either be hand-delivered or mailed to 1830 S. Third Street, Niles, Michigan 49120.
