Ari K. Gillow, 45, of Cassopolis, died unexpectedly, Friday, July 25, 2014 as the result of an auto accident. He was born December 3, 1968 in Flint, Michigan.

Ari was passionate about playing pool with his team and friends at the Hide-a-way Lounge at Barron Lake. He was an avid hunter and trap shooter. He enjoyed an occasional round of golf with friends. Ari and a group of friends were instrumental in raising money for Area 17 Special Olympics. He could be counted on to be the caretaker for homes and animals when friends went on vacation. Ari was a member of the Men’s Auxiliary of the VFW Edwardsburg Post 2284 and the Sons of the Legion of the American Legion Edwardsburg Post 365.

Ari will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by three children, Kenzie Gillow, Hawk Gillow, and Tucker Gillow, all of Marshall, Minnesota; his mother Marcia Gillow of Edwardsburg; his maternal grandmother, Nina Pudvay of Edwardsburg; one brother, Eric Millbaugh of Kennebunkport, Maine; and a host of aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, David Gillow; his grandfather, Harold Pudvay; one brother, Kelly Gillow; and one uncle Ted Pudvay.

Family and friends will gather at a date and time to be announced for a Memorial Service in Edwardsburg.
