In conjunction with the US-12 Garage Sale, the Knights of Columbus from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, will be holding its annual Nelson’s Port-A-Pit Chicken sale from10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 9.

The cost for a half-chicken will be $6 pre-sale and $6.50 the day of sale. “Pit-tatoes” will be offered for $3.25, bottled water for 50 cents and soda for 75 cents.

Pre-sale tickets will be sold through Sunday.
