Julia Mae Habel, of South Bend

Julia Mae Habel, 87, of South Bend, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Julia was born on March 7, 1927, the daughter of Floyd and Nettie Yeich.

Julia is survived by five children, Max (Pat) Watson of Florida, Dwain (Margie) Everly of Plymouth, Patricia (James) PeGan of South Bend, Boyd Enger of South Bend and Judith Ketchum of South Bend. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Mildred Barno, Rose Criswell, Jay Yeich, and Leo Williams.

She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary and Women of the Moose Lodge, both of Niles. She always liked to keep busy and enjoyed being outside and working in her yard.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home. Cremation will follow and burial of her ashes will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
