The Cass County COA held its annual Grand Festival Friday, inviting children to participate in afternoon of fun activities with grandparents.

Rock climbing and hayrides were among the favorites that returned for this year’s event, though the newly introduced Banana Car Ride was also popular among kids this year.

Visitors also enjoyed the mini petting zoo presented by Sarett Nature Center and fingerprinting offered by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Later in the afternoon, children and adults alike watched a magic show presented by area-performer John Dudley, followed by dinner. COA CEO Bob Cochrane estimates that this year’s Grand Festival was more popular than last year’s, which drew in 350 people.
