Charles L. Click, 95, residing in Mishawaka, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Northwood Assisted Living, Mishawaka.

He was born July 26, 1918 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Vernon and Helen (Klowitter) Click.

On May 3, 1941, in Elkhart, Charles married the former Martha “Jean” Click, who preceded him in death on April 14, 2014.

Charles graduated with the Elkhart Central High School Class of 1937 and Michigan Mortuary School of Science in Detroit in 1941. He worked in sales of industrial products, but was still a licensed funeral director until his death.

Charles and Jean lived in Niles, for 50 years before moving to the South Bend area in 1995.

Charles is survived by sons, C. David (Karen) Click of Palm Desert, California and Craig S. Click of Michigan City, Indiana; and step-grandchildren, Megan (Jason) Hines of St. Joseph, Michigan, Lysa (Andy) Rieger of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Mike (Analee) Lucke, of Baltimore, Maryland.

Funeral services for Charles will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, in the Palmer Funeral Home — Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, with Chaplain Barbara Hales officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg, Michigan.

Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home prior to services.
