Dorothy Coshow, 89, a resident of Spooner, Wisconsin and formerly of Niles, Michigan, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the Benedictine Living Center of Spooner.

Dorothy was born on Jan. 4, 1925, in Niles to parents Otto and Helen Everman. On Aug. 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Jack Coshow. The family moved to Wisconsin in 1969 and resided on the Namekagon River until 1993.

She loved her children, grandkids and great grandkids, and in her spare time enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Jim (Becky) Coshow, Wayne (Karen) Coshow, Gail (Charles) Ennis, Jeff(Lisa) Coshow, Winona Coshow (Bill Thornley), Glenda Erickson, Fran (Rosco) Coshow-Bowers, Dennis (Carmen) Coshow, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Harriet Chaffee, Dena Amspaugh, Ralph (Pat) Everman, Ernest Everman, and Keith (Mary Ann) Everman.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Helen Everman, daughter Jackie and husband Jack who both perished in a plane accident in 1979, daughter Sandra, and brother Lester.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Scalzo-Taylor Chapel in Spooner with Father Arron Zook officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. A second service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles, Michigan at 11 a.m., with Ken Isabel officiating.
