The Cass County COA is adding a support group at the Lowe Center for those who have experienced a loss of any kind.

Grief is a process and support can mean a great deal as someone walks this path.  The first meeting of the group will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. June 19. Starting in July, the group will meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month from
10 a.m. to noon.

“The Grief Support Group is designed with the understanding that participants are at a tender stage and need help coping with feelings and how to move forward,” said Keryl Conkright, RN, COA Care Services Team Leader.  “This group started as a three week grief work group with the members expressing a desire to continue on as a regular support group. We welcome others who have suffered the loss of someone important in their life to join us as we learn healthy ways to heal from grief.”

The Cass County COA Lowe Center is located at 60525 Decatur Road and Hwy 60 in Cassopolis.
