Chieftains, Eddies both place three on first team

A trio of Dowagiac players were named to the All-Wolverine Conference West Division squad, which was announced Tuesday.

Kourtney Mitchell, Riley Daly and Taylor Hulett were all first-team selections for the Chieftains.

Dowagiac’s Mike Behnke was named Coach of the Year.

Honorable mention picks for the Chieftains were Amanda Craft and Emily Roach.

Edwardsburg’s Kaley Frank, Layne Stinnett and McKenzie Creed were named to the first team, while Kaylee Ryker, Teryn Williams and Ali Strycker were honorable mention selections.
