Beginning June 2 — Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program is a free program for elementary and middle school kids lasting from June 2 to August 1 that features free events and prizes. Visit the library or Dowagiacdl.org for more details.

June 11 at 4 p.m. — John Ball Zoo

The John Ball Zoo is visiting the Library and bringing animals with them. This fun program lets you get up close and personal with animals while learning more about the animal kingdom.

June 24 at 10:30 a.m. — Comic Books: An Original American Art Form

Join us at the Council on Aging’s Front Street Crossing location for an hour-long presentation on the role of comic books in the development of American literature.

June 26 at 5 p.m. — Science is Magic with John Dudley

Magician John Dudley stops by the Dowagiac Library for a unique science-themed magic show open to all ages. Stay after the show for a seminar on how to perform magic yourself.

Every Friday at 11 a.m. — Storytime at the Sculptures

Our Storytime At The Sculptures programs keeps rolling through June with new stories, songs and sculptures. Visit the library or Dowagiacdl.org for the full schedule.
