The Dowagiac Town & Country Garden Club will be sponsoring its annual beautification contest for to any local resident within the city or within a mile of Dowagiac.

There will be cash awards and certificates given to the top three gardens. First place prize will be $100, second place $75 and third place $50.

The deadline for your entry is Monday July 7, with judging beginning on July 8. The winners will be announced Friday, July 11.
