Duckett wins pair of MITCA hurdle titles

KENT CITY  — Andrew Duckett grabbed a pair of MITCA Division 3 state track champions as the Brandywine Bobcats finished 11th on Saturday.

The meet, sponsored by the Michigan Intercollegiate Track Coaches Association, features regional champions and runner-up.

Duckett won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, was fifth in the long jump and was a member of the Bobcats’ sixth place 1,600-meter relay team, which also consisted of Nathan Anders, Matt Kline and Michael Robbins.
