Niles splits with No. 1-ranked St. Joseph

Tate Brawley and Connor Glick helped the Niles baseball team split with No. 1-ranked St. Joseph in Big 16 West Division baseball Tuesday.

The Vikings (17-9, 7-5 West) took the first game 3-2, but fell in the nightcap 5-2.

Glick and Brawley both had two hits, including a double in the opening game against the Bears. Taylor Weldy also had two hits for the Vikings.

Brawley tossed a four-hitter to earn the victory.

In the second game, Weldy singled and doubled and Glick added to more hits to his total.
