Greyson Allen Lundy was born at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Memorial Hospital and passed at 2:02 a.m. Saturday due to pre-term delivery complicated by a diaphragmatic hernia.

He is survived by his mother, Christy Jo Lundy of Niles; sister, Karlee Michelle Lintz of Niles; grandparents, Mark Lundy and Tracy Beck, both of Niles; great-grandmother, Alma Jo Ranft, also of Niles; aunt and uncle, Cassie and Chad Bundy of Niles; as well as many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Michelle Lundy; and great-grandparents, Robert Ranft, Dale Lundy and Hannah Lundy. In the short time Greyson was with us, he clearly loved music, candy (hot tamales) and mostly ice cream! He also had a sense of humor — always giving the ultrasound techs a challenge to scan him as he would constantly move and wiggle.

One doctor said, “Let’s take a look at that cute face,” and we watched him on the screen as he instantly put his feet over his head. Even the doctor hesitated and laughed and said, “What a little personality he has!”

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.

Contributions will be used for local families having to travel for the best possible care during their pregnancy as well as to help provide donated items to local hospitals for families of babies who die before, during or after birth.
