Bobcats split with LMC

ST. JOSEPH — Visiting Brandywine split a non-league baseball doubleheader with Lake Michigan Catholic Thursday.

The Bobcats (5-3) scored three runs in the top of the seventh to win the first game 7-6.

The Lakers rebounded to win the nightcap 10-4.

Toby Fox picked up the win in relief of starter Chandler Piew in the opening game.

Brandywine finished with 10 hits, led by Tanner Bourdon who doubled and tripled. Cole Sears and Piew also doubled.

Brock Hartline, who took the loss on the mound, and Piew both doubled for the Bobcats in the nightcap.
