BATTLE CREEK — The Niles softball team continues to play power softball.

Seven more extra base hits allowed the Vikings to roll to a pair of easy Big 16 non-divisional wins over host Battle Creek Lakeview Wednesday.

Niles got a home run and a triple from winning pitcher Tala Gentry in the 12-0 first game victory. Gentry’s home run was a grand slam.

Olivia Jordan added a double and a triple.

In the nightcap, Niles won 17-1 in three innings.

Gentry and Jordan both tripled, while Courtney Ankrapp homered.

Holly Walker was the winning pitcher.
