Vikings 2-1 at invitational

COLDWATER — Niles went 2-1 at the Coldwater Invitational Saturday.

The Vikings defeated Quincy 11-1, lost to host Coldwater 4-3 and defeated Three Rivers 6-5.

Cody and Wyatt Thornton picked up the wins on the hill for Niles, while Tyler Clutter suffered the loss.

Connor Glick homered in the first game against Quincy, while Taylor Weldy and Wyatt Thornton both doubled.

Tate Brawley had a double in the loss to Coldwater.
