The Cass County 100+ Women Who Care held their third meeting April 16. This quarter the charity the organization picked to donate to was the Dowagiac Area History Museum. The group gave them $2,900 toward the renovation of their second floor.

100+ Women Who Care is made up of a group of women who are interested in supporting the community of Cass County.  Members come from all walks of life and different financial backgrounds.  As individuals they felt that it was difficult to make an impact, but as a group they have the ability to contribute to the community in ways they never thought possible.

“This is the most rewarding group I have ever been a part of,” said Kim MacGregor, founding director and advisor with Edward Jones.  “These women are a lot of fun, and they do a lot of good for the community!”

The next meeting is July 16, with location to be determined.

“We are growing every meeting. I look forward to the day we achieve the goal of 100 members,” MacGregor said.

Women are encouraged to come and bring a friend.  For more information, visit the 100+ Women Who Care Facebook page, or the group’s website at casscounty100wwc.webs.com or contact them by email at cassco100wwc@yahoo.com.
