Students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa

Lake Michigan College inducted 125 students into the Mu Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international community college honor society, during the College’s annual Phi Theta Kappa banquet held April 8 at the LMC Mendel Center. Chapter officers for 2014-2015 are:

• Aiden Weston (St. Joseph) – President

• Ashli Malone (Benton Harbor) – Vice President

• Carolina Brito (Dowagiac) – Public Relations and Outreach Officer

• Dakota Dobbs (Benton Harbor) – Leadership Officer

• Rubi Brito (Dowagiac) – Secretary

• Michelle Berry (Hartford) – General Members Officer

• Andrew Summerfelt (St. Joseph) – PTK Liaison Officer

To be considered for Phi Theta Kappa membership, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and accumulated at least 12 credits that are 100 level and above. The local inductees are:
