John Schadler, 77, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles. John was born Oct. 17, 1936, in Niles to Edmund and Freida Schadler.

John was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his three children Kim Sears, Kim Schadler and Greg Schadler, his two sisters Helen Peters, and Lorraine Armitage, brother Ed Schadler, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday April 6, 2014, at Union Cemetery, located on M140 at Pokagon Road. Arrangements have been entrusted in Hoven Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com
