Science Fair

Eight members of the Cassopolis FFA Chapter competed in the Arthur Berkey Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Science Fair March 7 at Michigan State University.

Dylan Armstrong and Emily Waldschmidt were state champions in the Social Systems Division. Their research project was entitled “Agricultural literacy in kindergarten classroom.”

Also participating for Cassopolis were Tori Baker, Mandy Bruens, Michelle Green, Brittney Prestly, Jacob Roth and Marissa Waldschmidt.

The science fair, sponsored by Michigan State, helps recognize middle and high school students who are studying the application of scientific principals and emerging technologies in agriculture and natural resources.
