Todd A. Prillwitz, 51, of Niles passed away unexpectedly, at his home on March 17, 2014.

Todd was born to the late Glenn E. and Bettie Jack (Barrett) Prillwitz on April 7, 1962 in Niles, Mich.
After graduating from Berrien Springs High School in 1982, Todd furthered his education at Western Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree.
On Dec. 28, 2012, Todd married Kolleen “Kelly” Bokinskie-Gilbert at a ceremony in Las Vegas, Nev.
Todd loved and cared deeply for his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a man who enjoyed many of the simple things in life. He loved to hunt and fish, spending time in the Upper Peninsula and Canada doing so. He and Kelly also loved to travel throughout Michigan enjoying the many different scenic areas Michigan has to offer. He was a wonderful husband, who was always attentive, and he never missed a day to say “I love you”. He was a loving uncle, great-uncle, brother, and a kind, gentle, sensitive man, who could always be counted on by his family and friends. He touched many lives and will always be remembered with a smile
and great fondness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Bettie Jack Prillwitz.
Todd is survived by his wife, Kolleen “Kelly” Prillwitz of Niles, his three brothers, Bruce (Carol Ann Baker) Prillwitz of Rochester, Michigan, Ladd Prillwitz of Berrien Center, and Scott Prillwitz of Berrien Springs, a step-daughter, Reanna Gilbert-Lennox of Niles, a step-grandson Trevor Lennox of Niles, nieces Autumn (Jeff) Penney, Sarah Prillwitz, Rachel Prillwitz, and Ellen (Mike) Malone, nephews Aaron (Nicole M. Tobin) Prillwitz, and Aric Prillwitz, an aunt, Georgia A. (Roy) Prillwitz of Mackinaw City, Michigan and an uncle, Richard (Doris J. Prillwitz) Bain, of Lake
Geneva, Wisconsin.
Memorial and Family Visitation arrangements have been entrusted to Allred Funeral Home. A celebration of Todd’s life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Allred Funeral Home on Main Street, Berrien Springs. Memorials may be made in Todd’s name to the Berrien Springs Community Library, bsclibrary@comcast.net
