Phyllis Pearl Walls, 86, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home.

She was born on March 8, 1927, to Charles F and Bernice (Bristol) Rollf in Niles. On June 27, 1947, she married Earl Judd Walls at a ceremony in Ohio. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2014. She was a member of the Buchanan American Legion Post 51, VFW Auxiliary 10704 Cassopolis, and the Buchanan Moose Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children; Vera Maxine (James) Harpole, Jack (Mercyde) Walls, and Paul Arnold Walls, two brothers, Floyd Arnold Rollf and Russel Rollf, three sisters; Aleta Place, Shirley Gober, and Deanna Pinkerton, three grandchildren six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Phyllis is also preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters; Helen Krieger, Donnis Lucker and Doris Yazel.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held by the family for Phyllis and Earl Walls at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
