Brawley, Rasler lead Niles past Mustangs

PORTAGE — Tate Braley and Gavin Rasler combined for 27 points as the Niles boys basketball team advanced to the Class A District semifinals Monday night.
The Vikings slipped past host Portage Central 50-46 to move into Wednesday night’s game against St. Joseph, which defeated Kalamazoo Loy Norrix Monday night.
Brawley finished 14 points, while Rasler had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Chase Carlson and Hunter Lassiter both score 12 points for the Mustangs.
