Tracee Ann Bartley, 40, of Niles, died on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Simon Cancer Center, Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 4, 1973, in Niles to Mark & Vickie (Wallace) Nolan.

Tracee was a 1991 graduate of Brandywine High School in Niles, a 1995 graduate of Grand Valley College in Grand Rapids, where she earned a degree in therapeutic recreation and a bachelors degree from Tri-State Univerisity, South Bend, in business administration. She then earned her RN from Lake Michigan College in 2010.

On Sept. 7, 1996, in Niles, she married Edward Bartley. He survives with their daughter Loryan Amber, parents Mark and Vickie Nolan, a sister, Stacie Nolan and grandmother Gertrude Wallace, all of Niles.

A gathering of family and friends is planned by the family from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Apple Festival Building in Niles.

Donations in memory may be made to “FFACU For Tracee Bartley,” a fund to help with medical costs acquired during her illness.
