Marsha Ann Ryales, 62, of Niles, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at her home unexpectedly, but of natural causes.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1951, in Berrien Springs, Mich. and was graduated from River Valley High School in Three Oaks, Mich. She had been employed in several area restaurants and factories, and has lived here all of her life.

Marsha was a faithful Christian and enjoyed reading the Bible. She also enjoyed the fellowship of her neighbors at Gateway Plaza — the “high rise” — and spent many hours shopping, often for items that she would not need but would give away.

Surviving family includes her children, Larry (Missy) Haynes of Hamlet, Ind., Michelle Bunch of Niles and Tammy (Steve) Carey of Marble Hill, Miss.; several grandchildren, including Alexis Haynes, Jasmine Haynes, Briana Haynes and Crystal Tillman; great-grandchildren Erik and Kiara; a special friend, Clyde Proctor of Niles, and a caregiver, Rita Blackmore.

Marsha’s family will gather privately to honor her memory. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
