John Allen Thomas II, 58, passed away Feb. 4, 2014, in Zion, Ill., after a long battle with cancer.

Born Sept. 17, 1955, in Chicago, Ill., to Wilma Bernice Redmon and John A. Thomas.

John is survived by sister, Mary Moyer, of Dade City, Fla., formerly of Niles, Mich.; and a brother, Bob Thomas, formerly of Columbus, Mo.

Preceded in death by death by sister, Joann Linna Doehren of Niles, Mich.
