43rd annual Salad Smorgasbord and Style Show March 20

Published 8:22am Friday, February 14, 2014

“Sweet & Simple” is the theme this year for The Edwardsburg Presbyterian Women’s Association  43rd annual Salad Smorgasbord and Style Show, which will be held on March 20 in the Edwardsburg High School Gymnasium.

The festivities start at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $8 per person.

This is an annual event of more than 400 women coming for great salads, a style show and lots of door prize drawings all evening long. Along with this is a raffle for a gorgeous creme queen size colored quilt, that the ladies of the Presbyterian Church work on during Monday morning’s quilt sessions as they sit, hand stitch and enjoy fellowship with each other.

Two other raffle prizes will be a festive red/white/blue wreath and four beautiful placemats.

Tickets will go on sale at the Presbyterian Church on Feb. 23 immediately after worship service in the fellowship hall at 11:30 a.m. Each year 400-plus tickets are sold and tickets always sell fast so plan on getting to the church to purchase your tickets.

Ticket chairladies are Patty Patzer at (699-7552), Judy Boepple at (699-5857) and Joann Mackling at (663-2045) if you would like to call with the number of tickets you will need.

Or you can contact the chairs of the event, which is Tanda Stiffler (663-2005) and Amy Anderson (699-7567).
