STEVENSVILLE — A two-point second quarter left the Niles girls basketball team in a huge hole against host Lakeshore Tuesday night.

The Vikings (10-6) found themselves down 32-13 at halftime and were unable to recover in a 53-30 Big 16 West Division loss to the Lancers.

Tatyanna Goodson led Niles with 13 points, including a trio of 3-pointers. Elyse Zimmerman added 10.

Morgan Keiser led the Lancers with a game-high 17 points.
