Sandra Kay Taylor, 50, of Niles, Mich. died on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at her home following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 20, 1963, to Robert and Marjorie “Jean” (Billett) Myers.

Sandra was a 1981 graduate of Niles High School and worked for Tans Down Under in Niles for over 10 years. Sandra loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, singing karaoke and camping on the island in Berrien Springs with her widow.

On Sept. 5, 1980, Sandra married Todd Lane Taylor, he survives with sons Blake (fiancée Marycille) Taylor and Joshua (fiancée Keisha), all of Niles, 5 grandchildren, Ava, Zoey, Sophia, Cannon and Braxton, mother Jean Myers of Niles and 10 nieces and nephews. Sandra is also survived by a sister, Vicki (Mark) Shields, parents-in-law, Robert and Jean Taylor, all of Niles, sisters-in-law Tammy (Rod) Pointer of Buchanan and Bobbi Pennington of South Bend and brother-in-law Claude (Julie) Taylor of South Bend.

The family will gather privately for services.
