Despite a quick start, host Edwardsburg had a bit of trouble disposing of Three Rivers in its Wolverine Conference West Division boys basketball game Friday night.

The Eddies jumped out to a 24-10 first quarter lead and looked to be headed toward an easy win. But the Wildcats cut the lead to 34-26 at halftime.

Edwardsburg outscored Three Rivers 28-23 in the second half to pick up the 62-49 victory.

The Eddies (7-4, 4-1 West) was led by Dylan Hulett’s 14 points. Dante Razzano added 14 and Isaac Vite 11.
