Dowagiac falls to Coloma 35-15

COLOMA — Just three players scored in Dowagiac’s 35-15 loss to host Coloma in Wolverine Conference girls basketball action Friday night.

For one half, the Chieftains (3-9, 1-6 West) were able to keep it close as they trailed just 14-9 at halftime.

But the Comets (5-7, 4-2 West) behind the play of Jenna Faultersack, took over the second half and pulled away to the 20-point victory.

Faultersack finished with a game-high 21 points.

Ciera Smith led Dowagiac with eight points Jensis Green added five.
