Big fourth quarter lifts Buchanan past Cassopolis

BUCHANAN — A 20-point fourth quarter led host Buchanan to an easy 54-40 Lakeland Conference victory over Cassopolis in Lakeland Conference girls basketball Friday.

The Bucks led just 34-25 heading into the final quarter, but outscored the Rangers 20-15 to pull away to the victory.

Brooke Wesner had a game-high 25 points for Buchanan, which also got eight points from Jade Mosier.

Kortenei Suggs was the lone Ranger to reach double figures as she finished with 10 points.
