STEVENSVILLE — The No. 3-ranked Niles wrestling team went 3-1 at the Lakeshore Super Duals Saturday.

The Vikings’ lone loss of the day came in the opening round when it dropped a 29-25 division to No. 10-ranked (Division 1) Grandville.

Niles (15-4) went on to defeat Rockford (47-15), Mason (53-27) and Shelby (43-31).

Going undefeated on the day for the Vikings were Andrew Flick (103), Mitchell Findeisen (125) and Wyatt Thornton (215).

Brendon Meet was 3-1 at 112-pounds.

The Vikings return to Stevensville Wednesday to take on Lakeshore in Big 16 West Division action. Niles is trying for back-to-back 7-0 seasons in the West Division.
