Dowagiac and Edwardsburg will collide in a key Wolverine Conference West Division contest Friday night.

The Eddies are 3-4 following a 74-69 loss to Buchanan Monday night.

The Chieftains improved to 4-3 with an 89-51 win over Comstock Tuesday night.

Both teams need a victory to stay in the thick of the wide-open West Division.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m.

A busy week for the Chieftains will come to a close Saturday afternoon when they travel to Niles for a make-up game.

The Vikings are 0-5 on the year heading into Friday night’s game against host Portage Central.

Tip-off is set for 3:15 p.m.

The Chieftain girls team, which dropped a 47-34 decision to host Comstock Tuesday night, travels to Edwardsburg to face the Eddies.

Edwardsburg defeated Berrien Springs Friday night and faced Vicksburg Wednesday.

The Dowagiac wrestling team, which has already wrestled twice this week, will head to Quincy for an invitational Saturday.
