Knapp’s 15 points lead Bobcats to victory

Brandywine outscored visiting Bloomingdale 16-4 in the second quarter on its way to a 53-28 non-conference boys basketball win Tuesday night.

The game was close for the first eight minutes with the Bobcats (3-6) holding a 9-7 advantage. Brandywine led 27-11 at halftime and 46-19 heading to the final quarter.

Austin Knapp led the Bobcats with 15 points. He was the lone Brandywine player in double figures.

Seth Brown added eight and Matt Vaughn seven.

Anthony Villanuva and Lawrence Bigda both had six points for the Cardinals (0-6).
