KALAMAZOO — Visiting Niles was unable to keep pace with Kalamazoo Central in a Big 16 West Division clash Friday night.

The Vikings fell behind 20-13 after one quarter and never were able to catch up as the Maroon Giants pulled away to a 69-49 victory.

Kalamazoo Central (6-1) led 32-23 at halftime and 51-42 heading into the final quarter.

Emily Gaines scored 17 points to lead the Vikings (7-2). Jazmin Brann added 15 points.

Asia Robeson led all scorers with 20 points. Arjanae Morgan added 17 points for the Maroon Giants.
