David was born on Dec. 30, 1986, in St. Joseph, Mich,, the son of his biological father David (Debi) Marsh of Oklahoma, his mother Rebecca (Jeffrey) Klemm, but was raised by his grandmother, Betty Pendelton. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Allison in 2007 in Eau Claire, Mich.

David had worked for two years at NAPA in Benton Harbor, Mich. He loved fishing, especially with his daughter Madison, deer hunting and was an avid outdoorsman.

His surviving family includes his wife Jennifer; his children Madison, Brooklyn and Isaac; his grandmothers, Betty Pendelton of Benton Harbor, Mich and Audrey Marsh of Center Lake, Mich.; his sister, Heather Klemm; his brothers, Michael, Doug, Daniel and Matthew (Meranda) Klemm; his father, Roy; and mother-in-law Tammy of Eau Claire, Mich.; his sister-in-law, Tori Freeman; and several special friends.

His family will have a gathering Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, Mich. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac, Mich. Memorials may be made to his family and to the attention of Tammy.
