Honor Credit Union has officially announced the grand reopening of its Dowagiac branch after a complete rebuild that began in May 2013.

The grand reopening will take place at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, and will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting, refreshments and giveaways. The ribbon cutting will be performed by the Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce.

Designed with members’ needs and convenience in mind, the new 2,500 square foot building is on the same site as the previous building, but showcases a modern look and features.  There are two drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM, a night deposit drop box and safe deposit boxes.  The new building opened for business on Dec. 23, 2013. Honor Credit Union has been a part of the Dowagiac community for more than 30 years now, and the new Dowagiac branch supports Honor’s continued investment in Dowagiac.

“We are so excited for our members to come experience our new branch,” comments Dowagiac Branch Manager Janie Reifenberg, “We are so proud of our new building, and hope that the community and our members will be too!”

Honor Credit Union serves more than 41,000 members in 14 Michigan counties. Providing solutions for financial success and giving back to the communities they serve are what company officials say remain the driving forces behind Honor Credit Union.
